Personal Prayer
Praise God, who “so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (Jn. 3:16). Thank God for those who led you to Christ. Confess that you are sometimes afraid to introduce others to Christ. Commit yourself to building friendships with people who do not know Jesus. Ask God to help you identify a friend who might be open to conversion.

For Your Family and Friends
Resolve in prayer to talk more among friends and family members about how you as a group can support world missions (Mt. 18:19-20).

For the Church
Lift up missionaries from your church. Write to ask about their special prayer needs.

For the Kingdom
Pray for translators who wrestle with unfamiliar alphabets and languages to spread God’s good news to every nation.

For People to Know Jesus
Ponder in prayer what it will be like when “all the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD” (Ps. 22:27). Pray for the coming of that day.

Prayer Pointer
“Prayer is not merely an occasional impulse to which we respond when we are in trouble: prayer is a life attitude.” —Walter A. Mueller
