Personal Prayer
Praise God, who calls believers into his kingdom. Thank him for giving you eyes to see and ears to hear the Word (Mt. 13:1-23). Confess that no matter how old you are, you have more to learn. Commit yourself to increasing your knowledge of the faith. Ask God where you should start—personal or group Bible study, church courses, support groups, memorization, singing through a hymnal . . .

For Your Family and Friends
Pray for a willing spirit among family and friends to let God into their lives.

For the Church
Pray that church education leaders will help class members handle tough questions with grace and tolerance.

For the Kingdom
Ask God to use church education programs as springboards to action. Plead for “faith and deeds” churches equal to the test (Jas. 2:1-16).

For People to Know Jesus
Pray that church school teachers will model the advantages of faith and remind children to pray for unbelievers.
