Personal Prayer
Praise God, the source of knowledge (Prov. 1:7). Thank God for the wisdom to apply that knowledge in everyday situations. Confess times of leaning “on your own understanding,” not acknowledging him (Prov. 3:5-6). Commit to acknowledging God in all your ways. Ask him to help you trust in him with all your heart.

For Your Family and Friends
Pray that God will open the eyes of children to see his involvement and care in all parts of his creation. Ask God to continually deepen the insights of the adults as well.

For the Church
Pray for your church’s education programs. Ask God to lead all to a love for God that grows “more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that [they] may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God” (Phil. 1:9-11).

For the Kingdom
Pray for teachers and students in all schools to acknowledge God. Ask for special effectiveness for the Christians in these arenas.

For People to Know
Pray for neighbors who do not yet “fear the Lord.” Ask God to open the eyes of their understanding to know him.
