Make Us One

Make Us One is a 31-day guide, the prayers of which cry out to God to heal the Church and our nation of systemic racism . . . and ask for open hearts to become catalysts of healing and change. We encourage and equip believers to ask the Holy Spirit to search their hearts and root out any aspects of the sin of racism within them. Then to bring forgiveness and His healing touch.

“As new social justice and civil rights movements are pushing to dominate the narrative, the Church carries the kind of justice that meets both the temporal and eternal freedom that the world is searching for,” says co-compiler Niko Peele in the Introduction. “It is a Jesus-justice fueled by biblical conviction, compassion, prayer, and action that will bring revival to the heart and transformation to society.”

Make Us One: A 31-Day Prayer Journey Toward Racial Healing is a resource that God is using to move our hearts toward surrendering to His purposes in bringing all those made in His image into complete unity. We recommend praying through it individually and encouraging your church, small group or prayer group to pray through it together.

On this page you will find links to Scripture-based prayers you and your friends or congregation can pray to allow God to search your hearts. As we repent of the racism in our own hearts, we can begin to pray for the racial divde in our nation to end.

There will also be links to other resources (ministries, facebook groups, books) that can grow your awareness to the issue of racism and how to be a catalyst of change.

Note: Make Us One: A 31-Day Prayer Journey Toward Racial Healing is scheduled to release in early October. You can being pre-ordering it in September.
