Personal Prayer
Magnify God as the one whose Word will outlive this world (Isa. 40:8). Thank Jesus that he is coming again to establish a new heavens and earth, at an hour that the Father has set (Mt. 24:30-31, 36). Confess those times when you let this perspective slip out of your daily life and prayers. Commit yourself daily to setting your hope and expectation on Jesus’ coming again. Ask God to show you what you must do in the time that you have left (24:45-51).

For Your Family and Friends
Pray for the homes you know that are nominally Christian, that God would set their hearts on fire and may show them the urgency of his kingdom work.

For the Church
Pray that the members of your congregation would join with other churches in your neighborhood as they see how large the harvest is and how many workers are still needed to reach the unsaved around you (Mt. 9:37-38).

For the Kingdom
Ask God’s Spirit to give clear leading to those who are considering his call to world missions. Examine your heart also to see what God may be asking of you in this area.

For People to Know Jesus
Ask God to show you the urgency of the gospel message and to give you the opportunity to share it with someone today.
