Personal Prayer
Praise God that he is greater than all gods—and does what pleases him (Ps. 135:5-6). Give thanks that God has “set apart the godly for himself; . . . [and] hears [you] when [you] call” (Ps. 4:3). Confess your difficulty in accepting that what the Lord does is always good for you or will work out for good (Jer.29:11-14; Rom. 8:28). Commit yourself to spending time with God daily, reading his Word, and claiming these promises for your life. Ask God to keep you faithful as you seek to grow in him.
For Your Family and Friends
Pray for your family and friends to trust God for the wisdom and victory he has available for all as they recognize his greatness (Prov. 2:6-7).
For the Church
Pray that God’s greatness will be shown as your church willingly and joyfully supports a specific world missionary with encouragement, prayer, and finances.
For the Kingdom
Pray that God’s plan and purpose will not be hindered by threats of Satan and his hosts as God does not want “anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance” (2 Pet. 3:9).
For People to Know Jesus
Pray that the unsaved will recognize the opportune time which God gives them to repent.
