Personal Prayer
Praise the God of everlasting kindness (Isa. 54:8). Thank him for exercising kindness, justice, and righteousness—and for delighting in them (Jer. 9:24). Confess any unkind deed or word or thought that has hurt another person. Commit yourself to bearing the fruit of kindness by the power of the Holy Spirit (Gal. 5:22). Ask God to add kindness to your faith (2 Pet. 1:5-7).
For Your Family and Friends
Ask God to help your family members and friends show kindness in all their relationships. Pray that kind words and deeds will become common in your household (Eph. 4:32).
For the Church
Pray for the outreach of your congregation and denomination to unbelievers in other countries. Ask that in all their gospel work, missionaries will be clothed with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience (Col. 3:12).
For the Kingdom
Ask God to uphold Christian agencies which do kind deeds in the name of Christ for impoverished and hungry people. Pray that needs will be met for both giver and receiver.
For People to Know Jesus
Pray that your kind attitude will attract unsaved friends and coworkers to the Lord. Ask God to create natural opportunities for you to share your faith.
