Personal Prayer
Magnify the Lord and exalt his name. Give thanks for the privilege of corporate worship. Confess any irreverent use of his name or wrong use of his day. Commit yourself to worshiping in Spirit and truth. Ask for the fruit of the Spirit in your life: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Gal. 5:22-23).

For Your Family and Friends
Pray for wives who will have the God-honoring beauty described in 1 Peter 3, who will love their husbands as the church loves Christ, and who will develop their gifts and skills for the sake of family and kingdom.

For the Church
Ask that believers’ hearts may be prepared to hear from God and that pastors may faithfully proclaim the Word of God and relate it well to the needs of listeners. Pray that in worship God will receive the glory and the congregation will be edified.

For the Kingdom
Pray that the Lord of nations will bring peace and tranquility in this war-torn world as more and more believers unite in prayer for national renewal, spiritual awakening in the church, and the extension of God’s kingdom worldwide.

For People to Know Jesus
Pray for specific unsaved persons that they may “want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so . . . attain to the resurrection from the dead” (Phil. 3:10-11).
