Personal Prayer
Praise the one who is able to do immeasurably more than all one can ask or imagine. Thank God for what he is doing in your life and in the church in response to prayer. Confess little asking and weak praying. Commit yourself to asking and expecting much in Jesus’ name. Claim the promise that Christ will come to you and make his home in your heart if you love him and trust him.
For Your Family and Friends
Pray that your family may grow closer as children grow older and prepare to leave home. Ask the Lord to keep family and friendship ties strong and full of love across distances which separate.
For the Church
Pray for leaders, teachers, and committee personnel, that they may be qualified for and committed to their ministries. Ask that their ministries may make a difference in the lives of those they lead.
For the Kingdom
Pray that the countries currently banning the Bible may soon rescind these bans so that their people may have free access to the Bible.
For People to Know Jesus
God “commands all people everywhere to repent” (Acts 17:30). Pray specifically for unsaved persons you know, that they may repent and believe as God commands.
