Personal Prayer
Praise God, “the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light” (1 Tim. 6:15-16). Thank him for being the light of the world. Confess any areas of your life that you may have been ashamed to bring into the light of God’s truth. Commit yourself to living as a child of the light. Ask God to fill you with the fruit of light: all goodness, righteousness, and truth (Eph. 5:9).

For Your Family and Friends
Pray that any situations of family abuse may be brought into the light and healed.

For the Church
Pray that the missionaries your church supports may be like shining stars in dark places as they hold out the word of life (Phil. 2:15-16).

For the Kingdom
Pray along with thousands of other believers that God will send spiritual renewal to your country and community, pushing back apathy and materialism and setting hearts on fire for the gospel.

For People to Know Jesus
Pray that those who are sleeping in the darkness of their sins will wake and rise from their sleep of death, that Christ may shine upon them. Pray also that, as God’s light in this world, you may make the most of every opportunity (Eph. 5:14-16).
