Franklin Graham of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse is traveling to all 50 states in 2016 to hold prayer rallies, preach the gospel, and challenge Christians to take a stand and take action. “America is at a crossroads,” says Graham, “and I believe we should take every opportunity to stand up for the things of God and His Word.”  He is urging Christians to vote and pray for the nation just as Nehemiah cried out to God to restore hope by rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. More than 10,000 people gathered at his first three stops in January in Iowa, Florida, and Louisiana. The crowd swelled to more than 7,000 in Columbia, SC, in early February. Fourteen more states were scheduled through the end of April, and additional states are added each month leading up to the elections in November 2016. While Franklin is not endorsing a candidate, he does invite people to confess their own sins and intercede on behalf of the sins of America.
