Personal Prayer
Praise your God, who is the giver of all good gifts (Mt. 7:11). Thank him for his promise to give you “whatever you wish” (Jn. 15:7) if you remain in him. Confess times when you have failed to thank God for his many spiritual and temporal gifts to you. Commit yourself to imitating God’s generosity as you give to others and to God. Ask him to help you freely give as you have freely received (Mt. 10:8).

For Your Family and Friends
Pray that parents of small children will give of their time to their children while they are young. Ask that family time will be viewed as a sacred trust and not as a burden.

For the Church
Thank God for the teachers in your church’s adult education program. Pray that they will have a sense of God’s call to this important work. Ask that they will be firmly united to Christ.

For the Kingdom
Pray for colleges and universities around the world which honor the name of Christ in their education. Ask God to prosper their influence in the lives of thousands of students worldwide.

For People to Know Jesus
Ask God to use you to lead a person to the most important gift of God, which is eternal life through Jesus Christ (Rom. 6:23).
