Personal Prayer
Praise God for the diversity of his creation. Give thanks for your heritage and unique attributes which add to the abundance of God’s diverse creation. Confess those times when you failed to accept and love people unlike yourself. Commit yourself to learning about and thanking God for other cultures. Ask God to stretch your understanding of who he is and what he desires of you.

For Your Family and Friends
Praise God for each family member and friend. They are so different in personality. Thank God for their diversity. For the Church As you worship God this Sunday, take a mental tour of the pews near you. Silently pray for the people sitting in those pews. Again thank God for their diversity—and for your church’s unity.

For the Kingdom
Pray that cultural diversity will be recognized as a gift of God.

For People to Know Jesus
Ask God to open doors of opportunity for you to share the gospel with someone from a differing background or culture. Pray that God will prepare you for that divine encounter this week.
