What Does Merger Mean for CPLN Members and Donors?
CPLN leadership is very excited at this merger. It is the culmination of several years of prayer and discussion. We believe it is of God, and is His plan for CPLN to continue its ministry into the future. One of the biggest advantages for CPLN constituents is that we will now both impact and be impacted by a younger generation of prayer leaders.
But you may wonder what changes will come for you?
For the first 6 months to a year, aside from promotion of links to the podcasts of Presence Pioneers Media (PPM), and to some of their resources, it will appear much the same. CPLN will still be its own organization, but be led by a new board of leaders from both ministries.
Our website prayerleader.com will still function as a membership site with hundreds of pages of content. The domain prayershop.org, from our old store, will now point to prayerleader.com/shop. Your membership discounts (for paid up CPLN members) will work at the new store.
You can still sign up for an annual membership to Church Prayer Leaders Network and receive its benefits. But you will also have a variety of podcast topics and articles you can access at Presence Pioneers Media.
You will still receive our encouraging and equipping emails regularly from CPLN and PrayerShop.
Donors and Donations
Since CPLN will continue to operate as its own 501c3 at least through 2026, your tax deductible donations will still bless CPLN’s and Jonathan Graf’s ministry. We still need regular donors to support CPLN. Your donations allow us to assist churches in their efforts to make prayer foundational in their ministry. Donate here.
Jonathan Graf will continue to lead Church Prayer Leaders Network for up to 2 years as we transition our books and content to Presence Pioneers Media. Your donations also help to cover his support.
Book Resources
Over time, most of the noticeable changes will come in this area of ministry.
First, within a few weeks our old prayershop.org store will completely transfer to our new store which is attached to prayerleader.com. The domain prayershop.org will point to prayerleader.com/shop to make it easy for you to find. Paid CPLN members will still receive their 10% discount at that store.
Second, we are sorry, but as a necessary cost-cutting measure, we can no longer offer free shipping on orders over $100. However, at our new store, the shipping/handling costs are the same no matter how large your order ($6.50).
Third, we will no longer be able to take orders over the phone. This change is for several reasons. 1. Our new store does not provide that function. 2. Limited staff makes it hard to have someone available to take your order.
Fourth, some of your favorite books might disappear from our store. When we contacted our authors about the merger, we offered them a way to take back the rights to their books to publish them elsewhere. Most authors chose to stay with PrayerShop, but a few elected (only 5 authors currently) to remove their books. If you want a book that no longer appears, email us at jon@prayerleader.com and I will forward your information to the author.
We believe this merger will bless you and add a new generation of church prayer leaders. We ask for your patience as we navigate this new territory!
