Personal Prayer
Read Ps. 47:5-8 and praise with joy your God, who has ascended amid the sound of trumpets. Thank him for being the King of all the earth, for reigning over the nations. Confess that you often do not think of God in such lofty terms. Commit yourself to praising God wholeheartedly today. Ask God to reveal himself to you as you praise him.

For Your Family and Friends
Does your family sing together in praise of God? Try it today! And pray that God will give each member of your family a joyful heart in praising God.

For the Church
“God is seated on his holy throne” (47:8). Pray that your congregation will have a true sense of God’s holiness and majesty as they worship week by week. Pray that every part of your worship will be directed to this God.

For the Kingdom
Ask God to be in the midst of his people in every time zone as they bring a worldwide symphony of praise. Pray for an anointing of the Holy Spirit in every place of worship.

For People to Know Jesus
Ask God to touch the lives of unsaved people today. Pray that some will hear the gospel and fall in repentance and faith at the foot of the cross.
