Personal Prayer
Praise God that he promises to refresh you like the dew from heaven in order to blossom as the lily (Hos. 14:5). Give thanks for the beauty of flowers, a beauty to be reflected in the life of every Christian. Confess to God the times you disguise that beauty with outward circumstances which keep you from reflecting his image (Col. 3:5-10). Commit yourself to being clothed with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, and especially love, which binds believers together in unity (3:12-14). Ask God to root out the weeds and let the beauty of Jesus be seen in you.

For Your Family and Friends
Pray that your family and friends may see the real inward beauty of your life reflecting Jesus, which makes your outward appearance beautiful at all times (1 Sam. 16:7).

For the Church
Ask that the beauty of your worship experiences will glorify God alone.

For the Kingdom
Pray that all teachers and preachers who handle the Word of God will preach and teach in God’s strength, not with words of human wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power (1 Cor. 1:17).

For People to Know Jesus
Ask that you will not use flattery in your witness to unsaved friends, but rather honestly encourage and comfort them, urging them to be open to Christ (1 Thess. 2:4, 11-13).
