Our team at Harvest Prayer Ministries/CPLN has been working with a local pastoral leadership team to plan out our Midwest Prayer Conference. The team is made up of six pastors, coming from churches of varying size and stripe.

In previous articles, we have addressed this theme “room to pray” from two key standpoints: 1) In my daily personal life-schedules, has there been an intentional commitment to make--not try to find--room for praying on a regular basis; 2) Within the Sunday Worship Service scheduling, has there been an intentional effort made to include even a brief time of corporate praying? Now, we want to address that theme from a third standpoint . . .

My dear friend, Rev. Dale Schlafer, is the director of the Center for World Revival and Awakening , based in Bradenton, Florida. Dale has encouraged me and taught me a great deal for many years. We have served together on a number of projects. Dale directed the well-known Promise Keepers gathering on the Washington Mall many years ago but left PK to pursue prayer and teaching for revival as widely as possible.
