The CPLN has gone international--sort of. For years we have had a number of international members,
but this past year CPLN representatives have traveled to Norway, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and

Effective men and women “in praying” clearly understand the old--but still true--adage: “Two are
better than one.” When people combine their individual efforts into a unified joint effort, the
end result--due to the amazing “law of synergism”--will be greater than it would have been had
they worked independently of one another! In other words, in mathematical terms: Because of
synergy, one plus one equals more than two! In the world of sports, one of the most quoted
acronyms is the word: TEAM, which is broken down into four additional words:

into a prayer event--no preaching, just worship and prayer. You can imagine I had no objections to
leading that.

Early in my Christian life God brought me in contact with men of prayer. These men came from
various occupations—laymen, pastors, and evangelists. They were not necessarily considered the
most successful in their churches and communities; neither did they pastor the largest churches or
receive the largest salaries.
