The church in Corinth, in terms of its worship times together, was a mess. Their worship
services were lengthy, but not life-changing encounters with God for the congregation. The
problem? Everyone was participating as he or she saw fit, without regard to others who wanted to
participate and without regard to how their participation would or would not build up the body.
